Big Crow Antenna Test Site (BCATS)
The BCATS is a low power antenna characterization system used to obtain pattern data and to calculate antenna gain. Using either of two pedestals (one for illumination and the other for the antenna-under-test (AUT) an operator can compute radiation patterns in one to three axes at various frequencies. Gain calculations can also be made over a frequency range.
The control software interfaces with a Configuration Manager allowing the operator to rapidly reconfigure the range insrumentation - including

- Attenuators
- Switches
- Pedestal Axes
A report generator is utilized to generate a variety of plotted output.
