The Syndetix Systems Engineering Group also designs, develops and fabricates RF components for switches, signal conditioning, signal routing and distribution. The Group designs and develops filters, feeds and antennas together with electromagnetic modeling.
![]() Nosejob |
Nosejob is a 5 ft. diameter steerable S-band dish antennas system housed in the nose radome of an NKC-135 aircraft. The custom pedestal acquires control information from the aircraft Inertial Navigation Systems allowing space-stabilized tracking of surface targets. This versatile electronic warfare (EW) system is U.S. Air Force flight-certified.

Triple Threat is a side-looking airborne EW antennas system housed in the nose radome of an NKC-135 aircraft. The antennas system consist of three 1 ft. x 4 ft. steerable horn arrays. The array position is computer controlled with information provided by the aircraft Inertial Navigation Systems. Triple Threat is now standard test equipment for Navy AEGIS cruiser acceptance testing.

![]() SAMPL Antenna |
The Syndetix Auxiliary Microwave Pulse Link (SAMPL) is a mobile system used to monitor the performance of EW-equipped airborne platforms engaged in pulse-by-pulse response to a radar-under-test. The system monitors, verifies, and documents the radar response to ECM generated by the pod. SAMPL achieves these tasks by frequency tracking and "eavesdropping" on the radar pulse-by-pulse response. The captured data is then transmitted to a remote instrumentation van.

![]() RF Switch Box |
The RF Switch Box is a ten channel switch that eliminates the need to use external power dividers to sample, amplify and provide the input signal to high power amplifiers. Each channel, when selected, can be monitored with a spectrum analyzer for signal integrity. Four channels cover DC - 18 GHz with a 6dB loss at the output. The remaining six channels cover from 0.5 - 18 GHz with a 3dB loss at the output.
