Lightweight Tracking System (LWTS)

The LWTS is a mobile instrumentation van housing an electro-optical tracking pedestal and a complete laboratory/operations area. Retractable clam-shell doors provide the field-of-view required by the optical system. The entire van complex (trailer, generator bay and instrumentation section) was designed and manufactured by Syndetix Incorporated from the “ground up”.

Airborne Antenna Pedestal System (AAPS)

The AAPS is an azimuth-over-elevation gear-driven pedestal system capable of supporting antenna assemblies from 500 MHz to 18 GHz. The system has full 360° range-of-motion in azimuth and 180° range-of-motion in elevation. The AAPS incorporates interfaces (including MIL-STD-1553B) that permit computer control for both slew and auto-track. It is portable and can be used for both ground-based and airborne platform applications.

Core Mover


Core Mover

Syndetix mechanical engineers and technicians designed and built an electric vehicle for the Fast Burst Reactor (FBR) at the White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The vehicle is used to move the FBR core from its building, and transport it outside for test exposures.
